Dear Wayne,

I finally took time to find your web site. Its very nice.

The reason that I've felt I have to drop you a line, is that I wanted to know more about this little book with the saddle on the cover.

You see, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior in 1983 while working as a ranch hand during the summer months in Nebraska.   I was 15 years old and my friend Marty Blocker and his wife Donna had accepted the Lord as their Savior and witnessed to me.   It has made a great change in my life, but have been in a back slide for many years now.

Last December, my father became ill with a respiratory virus and was very near death, My Dad is my best friend. My parents are both Catholic and never really under stood my choice to take a path other than that of Catholism. But they supported me none the less.

Last October, my Dad went out to Nebraska to see my old friend, Marty and Donna, and on there way out there they stopped to visit a friend of the family who was in critical condition after heart bypass surgury. It troubled Dad very much and he made the comment to my Mom that he did not want to be on life support. They were in Nebraska for a week, and then about 5 days after their return, my Dad came down with a resp. virus and was in the same hospital as his friend, two doors down and on life support. This was a very trying time. Now, Wayne, 3 days before Dad went into the hospital, he said, to me, " Here, Marty asked that I give this to you", and Dad handed me a copy of "The Way For Cowboys".

I spent nearly two weeks with this book in my hands, talking with the Lord and praying over my Dad. I cant begin to tell you how much comfort it gave me. There truly was only one set of foot prints in the sand.

My Dad is nearly fully recovered, but he still has many questions. I would like to get a few more copies of the book for him and another for me as well as some people in my life I feel need the Lord at this time. This book is so important as it tells how to accept the lord and how the pray and allot of things people need to know but don't know who to ask.  I carry mine with me often. If you could tell me where to send the money for postage and other expenses incurred, I will get it to you. I would like several copies to give out to those whom I feel drawn to witness to and also would like to return this copy to my Dad, who I feel it truly belongs to (and if I could just get him to read it). I still have a long road to recovery myself and now pray daily, which is a good step for me.

Thank you Wayne, you are touching lives you don't even know. And Thank you Marty and Donna, We will ride together in the Kingdom of God

 God Bless
      In Love and Respect
